Our Woodland Wellbeing programme, applies the principles of the NHS ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ (Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give) to deliver woodland based activities. Fresh air is stimulating for the mind, brightening your mood and improving your fitness. Activities are tailored to reflect the needs and aspirations of those involved.

A chance to learn about nature and wellbeing with our trained team.  Activities will be dependent on the season and group but will relate to at least one of the five ways to wellbeing.

  • planting trees
  • community projects
  • natural crafts
  • wildlife walks
  • art in the outdoors
  • brew with a view

Reconnecting and Reactivating


We work with a variety of people from those with complex needs to people who are independent and looking for work. Our activities can range from sensory stimulation to learning woodland skills. We tailor sessions to suit the needs, abilities and interests of each group and actively encourage participants to take the lead and suggest activities.  Activities will be dependent on the season and group but will relate to at least one of the five ways to wellbeing.

Activities may include:

  • learning about traditional crafts of coppicing
  • splitting firewood, producing kindling, creating pea sticks and besom brooms
  • developing new skills through practical woodland management and green-woodworking activities
  • building campfires and whittling elder twigs into whistles and other creations
  • wildlife walks
  • practicing mindfulness in a woodland setting
  • art in the outdoors
  • brew with a view

For Schools

Wild Connections


Gain conservation, bushcraft and green woodworking skills.  Get qualifications and experience.  Great for young people completing their Duke Of Edinburgh award or others wanting work experience in the outdoors.   • Children must be accompanied on the activity by a parent or guardian on a ratio of 1:6
  • All participating in an activity need to complete our activity waiver (parents and guardians to complete on behalf of children)
  • Please seek advice if you wish to attend and you are suffering from serious health issues
  • We recommend you wear warm outdoor clothing (that might get muddy) and suitable footwear eg walking boots or wellies
  • All bookings must be pre-booked
  • Payment in full at the time of the booking
  • Mileage is charged for any bookings over 20 miles from our base.

Are you looking for a fun activity to entertain family and friends? Then our Introductory Family Archery Experiences are for you!

Our fully instructed activity package, gives groups of 6 or more the chance to experience archery. Your instructor will teach you the correct way to handle a bow and arrow before you step up to the firing line to test your aim. There’ll be plenty of time for fun games along the way. Perfect for beginners and novices alike!

Duration: 1 – 3 hours (depending on group size)

Have some family fun.

We can come and deliver mini archery to your family unit in your garden (if you have a suitable space of at least 10 m long).  All the family can participate, Mum, Dad and siblings. The soft arrows make archery accessible to all ability levels. We will instruct from 2 metres away and the equipment will be sanitised before and after the session.

*Special offer price: £99, for up to 60-minute archery session, for a family living within 20 miles of Bromyard (travel costs added, if we are required to travel further afield).
